Colter Bay: The West Meets Buffalo

The restaurant brings the culture of the American West right to Buffalo. The restaurant is decorated with elements of a ski lodge from the West, with wooden tables and beams, as well as wild game antlers hanging on the walls. The restaurant is adorned with modern aspects of a beer-cultured theme with polished gold and copper details that compliment the rustic lodge look.
Colter Bay has an immense selection of craft beers to choose from and they know how to use it. They serve foods that pair perfectly with their beer selection, including a variety of burgers, macaroni and cheese, and sandwiches. The menu includes a variety of wild game and seafood of the American West, including rainbow trout, elk and bison.
My personal favorite is the Split Rock burger, which consists of a ground beef patty, caramelized onion, braised short rib, white cheddar cheese, arugula, and horseradish/cracked pepper aioli. My burger was cooked to perfection and the combination of flavors from the cheddar cheese and the horseradish aioli was extremely satisfying. The burger was served with delicious hand-cut fries that were precisely crisped.
Colter Bay is a great place to grab a bite, perhaps while enjoying a craft beer with friends in Allentown. In addition, the meals are very reasonably priced! You may even want to try a true Western American dish while you're there!
